Our next guitar club meeting will be a HAWAIIN SLACK KEY WORKSHOP held on Wednesday, July 9th from 8:00pm -10:00pm.
Ben Diamond will be performing and then teaching the art of Hawaiian Slack Key. It will start out with a 30 minute performance/presentation that will cover the history/ origins of Slack Key and the different tunings such as the F-Wahine (CFCGCE), Drop C (CGDGBD) C-Major (CGECGE), C-Wahine (CGDGBE), G-Wahine (DGDF#BD), and Taro Patch / open-G (DGDBGD).
THERE WILL BE FINGER FOODS (HAWAIIN STYLE) AND DRINKS SO THERE IS A $10.00 MINIMUM (if you have already paid for membership admission is free)
