Scanning ID's at concerts
We were at a well known concert hall the other night and they scanned drivers licenses before people could get their 'drinking' armband. It scared me because I realized we're all barcoded in essence. Isn't this the first step in being categorized and organized into groups for possible discrimination and other acts of dominance by the government? I mean couldn't the government now set the scanner up to say anyone who is of a certain race can't get their drink band--or anyone with a certain criminal history etc. etc. What happens when scanning our license is required for entry into businesses or residences? It could be brilliant and cool, or it could oppress and separate and dominate us also. |

That is crap. I disagree in all ways about government control. **** the system and it's underlying agenda. |

I remember being scanned when buying cigs a few years back for a family member,but it was funny. My old license was in really bad shape. It seemed to have managed in the scanner,but they looked at me funny. As far as govermental issues. Well Im not going into all that. |
