Hatfield Rally 11 June 2006
I was pleased to vist the rally for the first time today and see so many interesting cars on display. Many thanks to those who organised it and for the labours of love behind the amazing condition of most cars. I would have liked to chat with some of the owners about their cars but this proved impossible due to over-loud music coming from the arena for a long period of time. Although the main objective of the rally must be do with cars, I do understand that it adds value to the general family entertainment potential by having dancing girls, music, etc. But these secondary events killed the main purpose of my visit, which seemed a shame. Next year, please set the PA volume control a lot lower, so that conversation should be possible. I have many of those music tracks in my CD collection and listen to loud music in my car, but not when I'm trying to talk. |
