Message:   I charge $5 to $6 per cookie.

Please do not be aghast. You asked.

It's a fair market price.

Back yonder when Wilton equipped us, the homemakers, and thereby spawned a new breed, the home decorator, they single handedly put the hurt on Mom & Pop bakeries. Then the big box stores nailed the coffin shut. There are few pure bakeries left, most have lunch counters or charge out the freaking whazoo for artwork which is the path we all should be on. We should not underprice each other.

Just some stuff to ponder when we price our goods.

One other thing. When we base our prices on our own ability to pay we nail our toes to the floor have pre-determined that we will not rise up. You need to cultivate customers out of your income bracket to make it work or you burn out.
