Message:   a lid that would fit the proportions of the cake, put it on the cake and airbrushed around it to create the white ball. I did the net with buttercream, then did the lines on the volleyball in black icing. I didn't draw it on paper, but I wanted to make it special and didn't have time to make the half-ball cake .... does that answer your question ? I based the design on one I'd done last year for youngest DD's collegiate team that I used a half ball on
