Message:   I always use Sweet Annie's too and my first thought was that they wouldn't get hard enough to use a food color pen on -- but if you've done it before (Teacher Apprec. cookies?) then I guess you can but I would think you'd need to wait a very long time (like Carla said, at least 24 hours and maybe even longer?)

I was thinking about the idea that was posted for the stamp and then royal icing and I thought... why not just use the food color pen to draw the design on the un-iced cookie and then use "annie's" to fill in the design? - kind of like a "coloring book"

Just a thought!
