Message:   The food color pens contain alcohol which eats through royal causing the bleeding and breakthrough. I would go to my local huge craft store, get a big soccer ball rubber stamp. Put a paper towel in shallow plate, dampen with slightly colored food coloring. Press the rubber stamp into the miniscule amount of food coloring and lightly touch the surface of each iced cookie - leaving just a hint of an impression then go over the lines with black royal.
