Subject:   ?? about icing and storing a cake for Saturday

Message:   Never having had to do this before, I need the advice of experts. I have two weddings scheduled for Saturday (never do that again); so, I'm going to have to decorate the early AM cake tonight. It's three tiers filled and iced with buttercream with gumpaste daisies and drop strings. If I ice and do drop strings tonight, put them in boxes and put in the refrigerator until late tomorrow night or early Saturday AM, will the cake be OK? I figure I can't put the gumpaste daisies on before storing in the refrigerator because I don't want them to get soft. By the way, will them get soft in the refrigerator? Can the daisies be put on with buttercream? Does this sound OK or am I totally wrong in my timing? TIA. Jo
