Does anyone think that in her position as a reporter and news anchor and her access to people of influence in Iowa and vicinity, that perhaps the reason there is a lack of information is that it may involve someone with political power? It just bothers me that people know that beside screams they heard a name, the police may have their reasons for not releasing that information after all these years, but after all this time someone who heard that name would have said something to someone and it would be public knowledge by now. A question to anyone who is in law enforcement on this site. Do you think not only in this case but others as well that there is a need for a national cold case unit to get justice for people who are forgotten over the years, perhaps spearheaded by top law enforcement people who are retired? |
