search site
I lived in Mason City for 12 years and just recently moved to Minnesota but have always had a hunch of where jodi's body might be if it was indeed in the area of mason city or cerro gordo county. There is a T intersection created by county rd b20 and eisenhower ave just outside the city limits. just north of that intersection i beleive there is water down a hill and very heavily wooded. I have driven by this area a thousand times but never actually been down to the area by foot. I just always had a feeling or something everytime i drove by there that jodi's body may be in that area. |

Ok looking at the map that seems like a great distance from where Jodi was taken, but I'm not sure far enough away for who or whom ever took her to do to her what ever they may have done. Just seems like it would be very hard to drive through the city wiht a person who doesn't want to be with you with out anyone hearing or seeing anything! Does anyone here remember what it might have been like in that area when it happened? Just some random thoughts. Good post though Knows4.. |

It is about 7 miles from the Key Apartments to this intersection. I do not know if it was ever searched. It is however one of the quickest ways out of town via North Carolina Ave to B20. You could be at the Key Apartments and actually be on gravel in less than a mile taking NC and then you just jump on B20 and go maybe another 5 to 6 miles to this intersection. Again just thoughts, hunches and feelings. I really think that sharing info no matter how seemingly small is what will finally solve this case. I am about 130 miles away from Mason City now but would be able to come back for a search and actually know the Mason City area very well. I actually lived in the Key Apartments for almost 3 years and used to leave for work at 4:30 am the aproximate time of Jodi's abuction. I have left for work at that hour on two anniversaries of the abduction and had very eery feelings and I have seen people in the parking lot on various occasions that have startled the heck out of me. I used to take my garbage to the dumpster and actually walk right next to or over the spot of where Jodi's car was parked and would was always very aware of this incident. |

knows4truth Please don't think Iwas bashing or even saying your thoughts weren't important, I think ALL thoughta and ideas are great. As I said it's this talk that keeps Jodi in our thoughts. I'm down in CR but would be more than willing to drive up for a day to do some looking around. I was in Mason City a few months back and did some looking around It was very cold so I didn't do anything on foot all in the car. I did drive what I thought would be a easy escape for whom ever and I gotta say I had a very uneasy feeling.. Nothing like your talking about with the garbage and living there but still an uneasy feeling... Again great post with some good ideas |

I HAVE HEARD SEVERAL PEOPLE MENTION THAT THEY THINK THAT IS WHERE SHE IS...IT IS WHERE THAT POOR BOY DIED LAST WINTER WHEN HIS TRUCK WENT THROUGH THE 'T'. SO THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN OFFICERS ALL OVER THAT AREA THEN BUT I THINK THERE WAS SNOW ON THE GROUND AND HE WASNT THAT FAR IN...MAYBE SO MANY CREEPY FEELINGS DESERVE A LOOK...EVEN PRIVATELY... |

I never thought of that but that is right. The kid that had the accident worked at the new Buffalo Wild Wings. Your right it was winter and it did have to be covered in snow. We'll see if anything happens. |
