The search continues
Josh and I have been investigating the disappearance of Jodi Huisentruit for several years and believe that we have assisted in some small way to carry her story forward. This web site was established to give everyone an opportunity to speak their theories and as personal friends, some memories of her.
It's amazing that so many of you have come forward and wanted to help by contributing information that in many cases are key elements to the solving of this case.
I know that there are witnesses who have yet to come forward. I have spoken to several people in the apartment complex where Jodi lived and their versions are in agreement in many instances. I urge you to come forward to law enforcement or this web site. The piece of information that you have might be just the key to unlock the door to her abduction.
Speaking for myself, I will continue to interview people who have a story to tell, as long as it takes. I want to work with the family and law enforcement in bringing this to a conclusion. That is my ultimate goal. I hope this is your's.
Somewhere the answer lies in the stacks of paper that Josh and I share. Someday it will be on the table when the person responsible for this surrenders.
There are so many people gathering information, like Jim Feldhaus. His spirit is energetic and I believe his motives are sincere.
So, as we reach the 12th anniversary of Jodi's abduction I look at the clock and imagine what she was doing at this time of night. I shudder to think of the fateful few hours that are approaching. 9 hours ago exactly she was abducted. Her cries for help went unanswered and for what it was worth, unreported. Let us start this next year in an effort to recognize the screams and to pray for Jodi and the person who did this to her. Jodi is at peace, but the person that did this is in a living hell. I pity this person who is such a coward he cannot come forward and admit his crime and put an end to this, for the family. I hope this web site that Josh and I started and maintain will play some small role in that.
Money for the site is appreciated, but Josh and I would continue this project as we are, paying for the bulk of it out of our own pockets.
Thank you everyone and please set your alarm clocks for 4:34 tomorrow morning and remember the hell Jodi was going through in 1995 as we sit safely in our homes with our families, thinking it could never happen in your small town.
Mason City, Iowa is music city. It happened there in 1995.
