lone man theory

I have always wondered this. If it was really a group of people that were hired or directed to abduct Jodi it was obviously a well laid out plan. But she was running late that morning by something like an hour to an hour and a half. these people would have had to notice this. don't you think they would have just scrapped it and tried again the next morning or the morning after that. i mean it is starting to get close to daybreak and some of the early risers who go to work early might be getting ready to head out and thus spot someone acting or parking or anything of a suspicious manner. that is why i think and always have thought that it was a lone man who was high or drunk who had a sexual fixation on her and new she was running late but pushed the issue because he thought that the reward(sad to say) was worth the risk. Just what I think. Shame this can't be solved and her family can have some sort of peace..

Re: lone man theory

I have also held to the idea that it was a lone man also. My theory of why he waited for that long for her outside that morning, was due to the fact he might have had no connection to Mason City, and therefore he wasnt afraid that someone might recognise him. Also I think this is why there has not been "street talk", and IF it had been a group, I think that someone might have "cracked" by this time. Just a theory of mine.
