Myre Big Island State Park
Last Summer a group of us went up to Myre Big Island State Park just over the border from Iowa into Minnesota. Near Albert Lea, Minnesota is a State Park that may be a possible area where the abductor or abductors left Jodi. Several of the suspects had connections to that area and it is only about 35 or 40 miles from Mason City. I took a few trips there because several Psychics said that was a possibility. It is a big area to search and we only scratched the surface. I would like to know if anyone else out there thought of that as a possibility and if anyone else went up there and searched. Please, tell us if you have searched that area and what if anything you found. I will post more later on what the Psychic's said about this area, where we searched and what we found. So, someone please respond. |

This is one of the psychics contacted who gave her psychic impressions. This is a psychic from Australia who is famous in Japan. When we went to Myre Big Island State Park in July we found the area just like she said, but it was 100 degrees that day so we weren't able to search the entire area. It would be great if others wanted to take a hike down the road mentioned and search next spring before it gets tooooo hot..... I will describe the road later in another posting along with other psychics who targeted this area. I am sensing wooded heavily tree area and lots of sand and not easily accessed. The body remains were off a trail, which was accessed by a car or 4 wheel drive car, close to water and about 20 meters or so from the trail in towards the water to hope animals going for water would pass by. The road came off the main road to the national park and then goes downwards towards the thicker shorter trees in heavier tree area, not where folks would go unless usually trail walking and very used to the area. The body was dragged/half carried from the van/car into the bush land and there are several narrow type tracks which are hard but possibly used by trail bikers or walkers. I felt strongly that the area is very hard to access, unless in a car down the narrow trail and the killer who did this knew this area in detail. I felt it is far off from any buildings and not where public would normally go and I also felt were extremely close by there is like a downward slope looking down a hill or slope to the bottom where the trees go down a side of a hill or valley sort of thing and I also sense it is not far from a road, its like an off the road track used by walking or trail bikers and is fairly far away from where normal picnickers go. I am sensing "big island" more than the others not close to public areas, not close to camping area and not close to picnic area. A winding road and track leads off from that it is in heavy tree area you will need likely a tracking dog or Blood-hound for the remains are spread around within a 30 foot - 40 foot distance. Searchers should search in a grid area a meter apart in a north east direction from road. Killer had been watching her and knew her extremely closely especially her movements. I do feel the person was in love with her and had been angered by her refusal of his emotional offer of some sort. I felt he had been sort of stalking her watching her and love Lorene. She wasn’t interested. He knew her movements closely and had been watching regularly. I also felt he knew the area in Minnesota extremely well. I do sense no more than one hour from her place by car to the spot max. One of her friends whom died is also connected by the same killer. Go on Route 35 to the park, okay. I get such a strong vibe on this case.... I wish I could go to the place she disappeared as I am a really accurate on location psychic and my body guides me as well as spirit to where bodies are (did this in Japan to find the mother and sons body locale) |

I subscribe to the theorie that Jodi's abduction may have been connected to her interest in Pruin's death. She told someone his death was fishy. I have had a hard time convincing the police of this. They seem locked into the theorie that Jodi was not an investigative reporter. I think that had nothing to do with it.... I feel that if the drug dealers thought Pruin told Jodi anything about them or even that she was just curious about his death then she would be a threat to them. In an interviews with Pruin's girlfried she told someone that Billy knew a lot of those types of people. When they went out on the town he would point out people that were actively into drugs. There were no drugs in Pruin's system at autopsy. Billy was not using. Just a "good guy". However he may have been killed because the men involved in drugs thought he would turn them into police. I think Jodi was targeted because they thought she knew something and her friend Bill Pruin may have told her about them. |

If someone's friend died under mysterious circumstances, anyone would question that. There are many, many message boards where amateur sleuths try to solve crimes. Few are 'investigative reporters', yet I understand LE accesses them. They definitely should look into Pruin's death. |

I believe also that they could be connected, however I question why they "style" would be so different? Billy's body was found in his own home and made to appear to be suicide while Jodi was abducted and hidden. |

I thought about that and maybe they did it differently because she was in an apartment complex, daylight was comming, and people were starting to get up and move around (going to work)or maybe this was just a way to tell Jodi's friends to back off |

Muskgrove, I’ve read a number of your posts and developed an interest in your thoughts. Let me caution you that I don’t believe Billy Pruin’s death had anything to do with Jodi’s abduction. I’m not interested in the “big picture” but rather a “small window”. What exactly do feel happened the morning of Jodi’s abduction? I know you have visited the site of crime. Do you visit at the same time of the year? I’ve become a very reluctant believer that certain people have the ability to “see” traumatic events that occurred in the past. I do believe that strong human emotions leave a “psychic” imprint long after the event that produced those emotions has past and that some “gifted” people can sense those emotions. Did you take notes at the scene of Jodi’s abduction? Please recap your thoughts about that morning. I'm not trying to move this thread off-topic, just gathering information. |

This case is frustrating to say the least. I have gone to the police station twice to hold an object of Jodi's. Both times it was her drivers license. The first time I physically felt pain across the back of my head and shoulders. My legs went numb and started to tingle. I could see with my eyes closed a black pen circling her picture and a slach through it like it was saying 'No Jodi' like a no smoking sign. Only I felt like she was being targeted. There was other stuff, but this is what I remember right now. Then this summer I was able to again hold the license. I couldn't really get as much sense out of it, because I felt so many people had held it and left there prints on it. I think it has been passed around so much her imprint is erased. I don't know where my notes are, but one thing was a grave at the edge of a farm site by a harvested corn field. I have seen so much in the past with other people and later it turned out I was right. I held one man's picture in Illinois and saw him in a hospital in Dallas,Texas. The Sheriff in Illinois said they had checked all the hospitals and thought the man had been killed. Turned out 2 weeks later the hospital in Dallas, Texas called and asked who was going to pay the man's hospital bill. He was alive and now well in Texas. But the Jodi case has shown me visions and dreams that sometimes are conflicting and hard to check out. Case in point was a dream where I was at this social party and went down a tunnel and came up in a family/bar resteraunt. I asked the bar tender where I was and he said I was at Murphy's. I went to the window and look out to try to see where I was and there was a bank across the road. Being 300 miles away I couldn't check it out and no one there knew anything about no Murphy's. Well, in 1998 I went to Mason City and across the river from the apartments is Murphy's gazebo and east of there is Murphy's Park and somewhere in town there was a Murphy's Resteraunt. I don't know what to make of it most of the time. I have been to Mason City at different times of the year. Except for the winter months. I have been timid and sometimes afraid to be obvious. I get nervous and can't sit still long enough to take in everything I should. I have set in the parking lot a couple of times, but always afraid someone will come out and run me off for trespassing. I need to take a lawn chair and plop myself down and observe what needs to be observed without being timid. I would love to have a seance in Mason City with several interested people. 3 of us attemped one last April and it was very interesting, but I think it would be better with a few more interested people. I will tell you something I mentioned to someone yesterday. When I do a reading about Jodi I have always in the past been shown that Jodi could be found sometime in the distant future. The last reading showed it is still in the future, but closer than before. Jodi will be found in God's timing and only then. I just want to mention here that I do not do readings for money. Money is not my motivation...finding Jodi is. I got involved when a month after Jodi was abducted a woman 4 blocks from my house in a good neighborhood was abducted and killed. She was a good person and didn't deserve what happened to her and I don't believe Jodi deserved whatever happened to her. I pray to God that Jodi will be found some day soon. I don't know if I answered what you were asking. I could tell you I can see her in my mind rushing down the steps with her arms full of stuff slamming up against the door rushing out with hope and excitment for a new day. ... I read for one of her friends years ago and learned of a senerio no one has ever wanted to believe. Maybe when the believeable is proven false the unbelievable may be considered!!!!!!! |

Thank you for the response. Good work and I applaud your commitment to this case. Do you feel Jodi knew her attacker? I really feel that Jodi was “on guard”, so to speak, about her personal safety. She was very uneasy, she felt something was about to happen. What made her vulnerable that morning? There is something about the events of that day and the previous day that led Jodi to lower her guard. Was it just because she was late for work? |

After posting my message here something came back to me from the beginning. This could have nothing to do with Jodi and then again something. Let me describe a place and maybe someone can tell me if there is such a place around Mason City. It is an old farm/barn with a Mill to the side on a small river. The foundation of the building was made with rounded bolders with morter inbetween. It is out away from other farms or homes and down in a shallow valley. Near, but not in sight of the Mill is a bridge that goes over the river... over the shallow valley. Kind of a quaint bridge. I saw in a vision of 2 men holding a woman there and she was trying to escape and run, but she was caught and taken back to the Mill.... like I said this could have nothing to do with Jodi. Just wonder if there is any place around there like that. |

I've been thinking about the night prior of her abduction and to answer Muskgrove's question: maybe JVS put something in her drink that evening, something like a date rape drug but not that strong, just enough for her to pass out a certain amount of time so he could do some sexual stuff with her without her ever knowing or the theory of them doing drugs together is true and she was still out of balance and very woozy that morning, that's why maybe she overslept too and was off guard so to speak. If she knew for a fact she was being followed, stalked etc. she certainly would have been cautious that morning also. Another question: the witness stated that he saw the van at the end of the parking lot with the headlights on, they were shining in the direction of the door where Jodi had to come out from the appartment. So why didn't she immediately notice that van and jumped back inside or started yelling for help IF she didn't know who the driver was? |

Some of your impressions are very interesting. The one about the farm..... thats where I was told she was but not in Mason City. 2 hours or so east. |
