  1. Do I need a passport to travel to the Bahamas?
    U.S. citizens traveling to the Caribbean, Mexico and other international destinations: A valid passport is required for all air travel, travel by cruise or land travel. Children age 15 & under traveling by cruise only may use a certified birth certificate when traveling to the Bahamas. Children & adults traveling by air must have a valid passport. Travelers from other countries may be required to obtain a visa to travel to the Bahamas (please call for additional information). Persons under the age of 18, traveling without their legal guardian, must have a signed, notorized letter of permission from their legal guardian to travel outside the U.S. For more detailed information regarding the proper documentation needed for travel to the Bahamas or Mexico please call the Department of Homeland Security at 800-375-5283 or the Bahamian Consulate at 305-373-6295.     You may use US currency while travleing in the Bahamas. Even though the Bahamas has their own currently, it is equal to the US dollar and most businesses take either currency.

    18 is the legal age in the Bahamas. This includes the legal drinking age and the legal age to enter the Casinos and clubs.

    The cruise port has ample secured parking for all passengers. The parking rate is $10.00 - $12.00 per day. Some hotels in the area also allow free parking if you are staying at the hotel the night before or after your cruise.

    Most resorts offer complimentary shuttles to the most popular locations on the island. There is also an island transportation service in the Bahamas, which only costs $2.00 per person. Cabs are also available 24 hours a day. Car rental services are also available.

    Activities include snorkel and scuba, casino gambling, para-sailing, wind-surfing, jet skiing and just about every other water sport imaginable. The Bahamas also offers the "dolphin experience"...swimming with the dolphins - An island favorite! Call one of our agents for more information. Some all-inclusive resorts include non-motorized water sports as well.

  8. Can you bring live animals into the Bahamas?
    No. Live animals, fruits and meats are not permitted through customs without special, prior authorization from Immigration. You may bring packaged, canned and processed foods, as well as alcohol.

    We only offer shuttle service in the Bahamas, from the cruise port or airport to the resort and back.
